THIS SOUNDS GOOD. WHAT'S THE FINE PRINT?

Here are the nuts and bolts:

● You get 2 emails each month through December 2020* with essays & resources for feminist entrepreneurship. The emails will be delivered through MailChimp, directly to your inbox.

● You get exclusive access to The Sisterhood Slack channel (this is where the online community lives) through December 11, 2020*. You will be able to post, comment, share, like, and emoji to your heart's content. You can access Slack from an internet browser, desktop app, or phone app, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. We keep an eye on the channel Monday through Friday to make sure it's healthy and humming. We spend time participating in the discussion threads on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

● The cost is $105 dollars a month (less for you if you are one of the lucky ones who took advantage of our promotional pricing). When you register, you will be enrolled through the end of 2020, with a minimum 3-month membership commitment. Once we receive your registration with your initial payment, we will send you a Participation Agreement. This is a contractual agreement acknowledging your financial commitment.

● Registration price is per person, not per business or partnership. If your work/life/business partner wants to join you, they will need to register separately. Please contact us for a discount if you would like to register as a team.

*PLEASE NOTE: We take the month of August off for summer vacation (and encourage you to, too!) so, there will be no emails or community that month.

I'M INTERESTED IN THIS COMMUNITY BUT I'VE GOT A LOT GOING ON (RUNNING A BUSINESS/HOMESCHOOLING/ETC). HOW MUCH TIME WILL THIS TAKE? WHAT DAYS/TIMES OF THE WEEK DOES THIS HAPPEN?

We get it. This community is designed to fit into your flow. There is no pressure to participate, drop in and out as you see fit. The community is housed in Slack, which you can access whenever you want: day or night and even weekends and holidays. We may host a few scheduled events such as video meet-ups or live chats, but those will be rare and we will provide recordings of the event whenever possible, for those who could not attend. The emails are yours to keep and utilize whenever you want.

WHAT KIND OF INVOLVEMENT/SUPPORT DOES SISTER PROVIDE?

We write and send you 2 emails packed with relevant ideas every month (except in August when we are on holiday 😎). We also monitor and participate in the online community by posting discussion prompts, upholding the healthy communication guidelines, and cheering you on. We check in on the discussion threads on Tuesday and Thursdays to make sure everyone is doing okay.

The Sister staff's primary role in the community is as facilitators, not experts, advisors, or teachers. We do not take phone calls and we do not offer individualized business advice via email or direct message. If you are wanting personalized support for your business, please consider our consulting packages.

IF I DECIDE TO LEAVE/QUIT/ABANDON THE SISTERHOOD, CAN I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?

Membership in The Sisterhood is a minimum 3-month commitment. When you register, you will be registering through December 11, 2020. You will have the option to terminate your membership by August 1 by submitting your cancellating request in writing with 30-days advance notice. If you quit or abandon The Sisterhood at any time between August 1 and December 11, your card will continue to be charged until your membership has been paid in-full. All sales are final; we do not offer refunds. I DON'T HAVE A BUSINESS YET, I JUST HAVE AN IDEA. IS THIS COMMUNITY RIGHT FOR ME?

No. Please join us in Feminist Business School: Concepts & Conception where we will provide you the specific support needed to transform your idea into a thriving business. The Sisterhood is for entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and small business owners who have been in business for at least a year and have been supporting themselves.

If you have completed Concepts & Conception and are ready for the Visioning stage, The Sisterhood is for you.

I AM NOT A BUSINESS OWNER, I'M AN INTRAPRANEUR/MANAGER/LEADER WITHIN MY COMPANY AND VERY INTERESTED IN THE SISTERHOOD. IS THIS FOR ME?

I'M NOT A FULL-TIME ENTREPRENEUR AND DON'T PLAN ON BECOMING ONE, BUT I'M REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THESE IDEAS. CAN I JOIN YOU?

The Sisterhood provides a valuable community for those engaged with the challenging and emotional work of entrepreneurship. It is not designed for employees wanting to bring these concepts into their workplace nor is it appropriate for those with a casual or intellectual interest in the material (side hustlers, hobbyists, academics, press, writers, researchers). Please consider our books instead, for deeper engagement with our ideas.
