2021 SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

In acknowledgement of the disparities caused by capitalism and institutionalized racism, and to encourage BIWOC entrepreneurship, we are offering up to 6 scholarships to womxn of color who demonstrate financial need for our upcoming cohort of V&V. Tuition support is awarded on a sliding scale, calculated from your provided financial information. The cost of V&V is $2250. Our scholarship awards range from $400 to $1650. We do not provide full scholarships.

To qualify, your household income must be less than 500% of the U.S. federal poverty level income and you must be without significant assets. We calculate your scholarship award based on your latest tax return and other requested financial information. To be eligible, your 2020 household adjusted gross income (line 8b on IRS 2020 form 1040) must be—

1 Person in Your Household (just you): less than $63,800
2 People in Your Household: less than $86,200
3 People in Your Household: less than $108,600
4+ People in your Household: less than $131,000

The deadline for scholarship applications is midnight, March 14, 2021. We will notify all applicants of their scholarship status by March 19, 2021.

The largest scholarship award available is $1650 (you pay $600 tuition). This can be paid in up to 6 monthly installments. If you choose an installment plan, we put a card on file and charge it automatically each month. If you are awarded a scholarship, your first payment is required by March 30, 2021.

Your application does not obligate you to register in the course. All nationalities are welcome; you do not need to be a U.S. resident to apply, please convert your currency to USD in your application.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS OR OTHER SUPPORT?

Yes! We offer a 6 month installment plan. You can find the link to register at the bottom of the the V&V page.

We also have a Feminist Business School tuition gift cards available. We encourage you to build your own crowdfunding campaign and invite your supporters to back your tuition, with amounts ranging from $25 to $2500.
