LOVE FOR Feminist Business School: CONCEPTS & CONCEPTION
(8-week Feminist Business incubator)

Jenn helps up gather tools OUTSIDE the patriarchy, so we can tear it down with some efficacy. We have been so disembodied that we have picked up the tools of the patriarchy to survive. This is about rediscovering our resilience, our natural resources, ourselves; and in doing so, we find the strength to create a new way of being in the world and in business.
—Caitlin M.

This is the most money I've ever spent on an online course. The content has been worth every cent. By far the best online business course I've done, and I've done many!
—Jacqueline C.

Feminist Business School was a life changing experience. I learned so much about the economy, business, feminism. But most importantly, I learned about myself — how to treat myself with greater care and how to love myself more completely. If you feel out of place in the Capitalist economy, you'll likely feel at home here.
—Tina C.

Feminist Business School was the best time/money/energy I've spent on myself ever. Thanks and praises to Sister for providing such an invaluable education and helping me fully realize and reclaim my power. I highly recommend FBS classes to anybody who finds themselves in business, wanting to be in business, or thoroughly dissatisfied with the current zero-sum politics of the Capitalist patriarchy we live under and wanting to enact change. It's work, it's challenging, but it's more than worth it.
—Nicol H.

Feminist Business School is the kind of experience that nurtures, inspires and gives energy to what I felt was possible for myself and my business. Each week, the content revealed a connection to what was happening around me and in my day-to-day. I was able to take those insights and begin experimenting with how I could build a business and build the kind of life and relationships I wanted to have as a feminist entrepreneur. I see business differently. I see myself and my capacity to be a leader differently. Being in Feminist Business School has shown me that Yes, a business can be feminist and embodying feminine principles is a practice that can be realized. The depth and richness of this course with Jennifer—and the amazing cohort—is what I needed to both ground me and nourish me in ways no other business training has been able to do.
—Denise

My former business looked beautiful on the outside, but was a total grind for me. C&C helped me see how that happened and how I might be able to run a beautiful business and not lose my self in the process. C&C helped me to feel more integrated, and more connected to the creative source of my entrepreneurial impulse. The whole enterprise feels so much lighter and brighter to me, and I can approach it with joy and curiosity instead of dread and self criticism. This course is perfect for solopreneurs, artists, activists, anyone looking to shift their relationship to work, and their business; for everyone who feels like something is not quite right about the hyper masculine business systems we have lived in for too long; for all the people who are in that liminal space between "not this" and discovering a new healthy human loving and planet loving path forward; for anyone who feels the creative spark of entrepreneurship but is put off by the energy of the performative bro start up.
—Katharine D

Concepts & Conception was the space and content I needed to go deep inside to create a legacy business. This experience activated my dormant Black feminist, annihilated self-doubt and put me the path to co-creating a business that builds restorative practices into business models, operations, processes.
—Teena L

I was stuck in the "how" and C&C took me backwards to the "why." I hadn't realized that my problems went all the way back to why, I thought what I needed was the magic key in the lock that would solve the how and move me forward. C&C slows you down and takes you to the deeper parts of your business and why you even want a business. So many courses just focus on the steps and the checklists and "getting things done" and initially it felt really uncomfortable to slow down and even go backwards, but in the end it's worth it.
—Whitney H.

C&C changed everything for me. The class showed me that the terrain of business, money, and survival is an environment I belong in and get to explore. It’s a place where my gifts of intuition, love and traditionally undervalued feminine strengths allow me to navigate previously terrifying spaces. Financial tasks, business decisions, and calculations for the future that once scared me now fill me with delight and the desire to envision wondrous futures. I will owe so much of my future success to the feminist grounding and welcome I received in this course.
—Rosi H.

I made space for this class and so glad I did. I experienced immense mental breakthroughs that will resonate for years to come in how I can run a business. I let go of perfectionism. I honored my self-care rituals. I got into alignment. When I started this class I was flustered, grinding and overworked while not bringing in much money. As I ended this class, I got into alignment for how I want to run my businesses and let go of a lot of shame that the patriarchy has instilled in me for so many years. I am happy to report that after some deep reflective work, I have finally replaced my day job salary with my business income and have expanded to believe that I am possible for so much more and I don't need to feel bad for wanting more money in a feminine economy. As a first-gen entrepreneur and daughter of immigrant parents, this is worth gold for me. I'm so grateful I could cry.
—Jackie A

I wanted to go out on my own and build a business, but I was feeling stuck and kept getting sucked into jobs or clients that weren't my exact perfect fit. C&C really helped me see that I had a lot of healing to do before I would be ready for a business. I was able to really get clear on WHY I wanted to be in business—and to be frank at the time, it wasn't to be in business it was an escape hatch. It lead me to a period of deep healing and introspection that has transformed all aspects of my life, not just my work life. I am able to honour my pleasure and my purpose.
—Amanda L.

C&C was radically informative for me and my emerging business. The course creates a safe, encouraging, and inspiring portal to really tune into the business you are most wanting to create, and it opens the doorway to your most emphatic YESes. I feel brighter, lighter, and clearer than ever about the work I want to be doing in the world, as well as the way in which I want to be doing that work.
—Gabrielle M.

Feminist Business School was a life-changing experience. I was close to give up on my own business, because it was taking all my energy and pushing me towards burnout. Concepts & Conception introduced a new way of thinking and fueled ideas about what a business can be. It was educational, empowering and inspiring. It helped me reconnect with myself – with both my body and spirit. I now feel calm, strong and ready to start being in business in a new way. My way. I am so grateful for this experience.
—Emy W.

This course will reconnect you with your truest self, the one you knew as a child or at some other time long ago, the one who wants to get back to the business of play and full-on embodiment. C&C has changed the way I prioritize my day, and reminded me that alignment and pleasure were just as important (if not more so) than my work.
—Maggie B.

Concepts & Conception was an amazing experience! I learned so much and had deeply profound shifts around money, how I value myself, and my understanding of feminism, Capitalism, and business. I was afraid to get my hopes up too high, but this class truly exceeded my expectations, and surprised me with its depth (and it was fun!). I recommend you take this course, and really commit to it, because it is an experience that will transform you if you let it.
—Stephanie K.

If you're interested in building a meaningful business that is true to your personal values and core objectives, I couldn't recommend Concepts & Conception more.
—Camilah H.

Before embarking on Concepts and Conception I felt totally out of alignment with my business and my values and who I was as a human. Something wasn't right. I felt like scattered puzzle pieces that were missing all of their corresponding edges. I think I'm still processing how much of a transformation I went through during this class. It's huge. And now I'm aligned with (and in love with) my business. I feel like I'm grounded in my work and ready to move forward with all of my values and tools in tow. Thank you, Sister!
—Hillary R.

Concepts & Conception was a roller-coaster ride in abundance consciousness—it shifted my default paradigms and tired narratives about what I need, desire, and deserve in order to survive and thrive!
—Candace K.

C&C has radically shifted so much of my thinking about myself, my work, my values and business in general. This course won't hand you some master plan to start a "successful" business. It will send you digging with your own two hands, deep in the fertile ground of your soul, unearthing treasures long forgotten and planting seeds only you can bring into this world. This course helped me realign with my values and reconnect with my intuition; break up with the myth of meritocracy and start valuing myself as a route to inspiration and creativity. It has been a wonderfully rich, deeply transformative and a truly empowering journey and I'm so grateful for everything this course has given me.
—Timea T.

If growing a business is like growing a garden, then Feminist Business School is like taking out all the barren sands of patriarchal, scarcity-based business values and replacing all the Stockholm Syndrome propaganda with nutrient-rich, fertile, potent, soil based on intuition, compassion, mindfulness, interconnectivity, collaboration, and joy—and then feeling fully capable of growing out of that soil a lush and vibrant rainforest that will heal the planet and all its inhabitants.
— Yumi S.

I've studied business at Oxford but what I learned at Feminist Business School feels more real and more radical.

LOVE FOR Feminist Business School: BIRTHING THE NEW (Business Birthing mini-course)

This course provided a simple, manageable, and relatable framework to develop a business. As someone who has been dreaming of starting a business, Birthing the New provides a framework that I could actually be excited about and promotes passion and enjoyment in establishing your business. I would recommend it to anyone interested in creating a business, particularly if you want your business rooted in feminist and anti-racist principles.
— Jacqueline D.

If you're looking for a fresh perspective and support on how to integrate feminism with business practice, this course is it. Birthing the New is like a calming nurturing hug of reassurance, while learning about how to approach birthing a business that is aligned with your values and considers your body, heart and soul.
— Janet L.

Birthing the New was such a great experience in helping me get my business off of the ground, and also in healing the preconceived ideas I had about what a business could be. The community the course helped to foster, the resources we were provided, and the support I received from Sister and the other participants were really invaluable in helping me solidify a feminist framework for my business and in my embracing feminist principles of entrepreneurship. I'll know I'll continue to return to what I learned here, and in the Business Birthing Handbook, throughout the course of building and growing my business.
— Beth W.

Birthing the New allowed me to return to the core essence of my feminist vision instead of getting caught up in planning, engineering, and ultimately missing beats. I have been dreaming up ideas for starting my own business for the past 2 years but I had yet to find a program that supports my foundational steps from a feminist lens. Birthing the New is what I was looking for! So thank you. This work is key.
— Kelly N.

I found the whole spirit of Birthing the New to be incredibly generous. It has expanded my mind and profoundly changed my perspective on business. This is a new level of self-care which I thoroughly recommend.
— Caroline R.

This course served as an awakening for me. Intuitively I knew I wanted to approach the business I'm building differently but didn't really know how to convert the feeling in my body into intellectual understanding. This course really helped start me on the path to a new way of being in relation to my business. It's very exciting and scary at the same time as it's so unfamiliar. But the guidance and nurturance given from Sister and the community taking the course was awesome. Very inspiring.
— Kai S.

I loved Birthing the New so much and would recommend it to anyone at any stage of the business birthing process. It's given me a total perspective shift around how to create a business and was a truly inspiring experience!
— Maureen C.

I now have a starting point to take my next steps towards embodying radical feminism, which I believe will allow me to flourish in business and nourish the ecosystem of creatives, activists and contributors around me.
—Lucy F.

Truly the community and philosophies I've been looking for! Radical softness meets creating a business. A must for anyone questioning capitalism, looking to bring politics into your business, or creating a radical business that you've never heard of before. Highly recommend!
— Mariah P.

LOVE FOR Feminist Business School: BETTER TOGETHER (7-dAY DIY BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP RETREAT)

I really loved this one week course! I did it over a slightly longer period of time, and I found all the activities to be incredibly helpful. I am at a point where I finally found solid ground in my business and started putting it into the world. I have a tendency to tear down my own buildings and these relationship exercises gave me a new level of respect for my business. It feels like insurance that I will focus on cultivating it and not be so critical that I ruin it.

Jenn is seriously a genius curator of content. The books, meditations, cards, etc that she recommends are always so helpful and delightful, and often things that I haven't before encountered.
— Julka

As a business owner of a company that is now almost five years old, it was wonderful to really take a step back and come at this virtual retreat with a complete beginner’s mind. Working on each daily exercise provided great insight and clarity, and helped to better connect me to my business—and my business spirit. I am grateful that I’ll have the opportunity to return to these materials again as needed.
— Rachel

I just completed the Better Together course and *loved* it! I've been resisting any kind of investment in my new business (after a previous bad business relationship, I now realize) and this was a great start to really dig in and figure out where this little business of mine is headed. The tools you shared have already been helpful in both my business and my personal life, and helped me find clarity and space when thinking about my creative work and the business that supports it.
— Tara

Totally recommend. For me, this retreat offered an overdue opportunity to be introspective in a guided, supported way. I loved how Sister/Jennifer was able to tap into all of the creative centers of imagination, journaling, reading, listening, and tarot to uncover my relationship with my business and give me usable techniques on improving it. We forget how important it is to invest time, money and energy into ourselves and business on the regular. Think of this retreat as adding to the compost which supports your growth.
